About the Cover

The barn is on Scribner Road, near Atlantic Avenue in Penfield. In composing the scene I used the path to lead one into the barn.

I love having barns close to where I live. They remind me of a time when life was simple and families were close. Also, the older barns have a certain charm about them. That the barn still stands, however weathered, is a statement to those who raised it with such hope for the future.
