About the Photographer
Perinton native Keith Boas has been photographing scenic New York State for nearly 50 years—since his college days when he worked summers as a postcard photographer in the Adirondack Mountains. After earning a degree in photo illustration, Keith joined Kodak where, for many years, he produced travelogues, calendars, how-to books and marketing brochures.

Now freelancing, Keith focuses much of his time on the landscape of the Northeast. His photos have appeared on the covers of fishing and golf catalogs, in regional magazines and ads, and in the recent Porches of Fairport Calendar. He is co-author/photographer of the books More Joy of Photography, Waterfalls of the Adirondacks & Catskills, The Guide to 35mm Photography and Fairport & Perinton: Then & Now.
